January 29, 2000 ertrude Williams, 100, formerly of Edwardsville and
Kingston, died Saturday at ManorCare Nursing Home, Kingston, where she was a
guest. Born Nov. 8, 1899, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Edward
and Mary Jane Price Thomas. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School and a
member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Edwardsville. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Oliver; and sister, Margaret Wolfe. Surviving are her daughter,
Betty Jane Liddecotte, Jamesburg, N.J.; three grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the Hugh
Jones Funeral Home, Kingston, with the Rev. James Quinn officiating. Interment
will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until
the time of services Monday.
