January 26, 2000 aul Warrick, of Dupont, died on Jan. 26. Born June 28, 1921,
in Dupont, he was a son of the late Andrew and Susan (Plisko) Warrick. He was
a graduate of Dupont High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II,
serving in the Phillippine Theater. Before his retirement, he worked at the
Topps Chewing Gum Co., Duryea. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church,
Pittston, and the VFW Post 4909, Dupont. He was preceded in death by his
brother, William; and sisters, Agnes Suwak and Jean Warrick. Surviving are his
sisters, Mary Brighton, Garden City, Mich.; Bernice Shedlock, Trophy Club,
Texas; Josepha Phillips, Dupont; and Donna Munoz, Carmel, N.Y.; and nieces and
nephews. Funeral services were Saturday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home,
Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church.
Interment was in the parish cemetery, Exeter.
