January 25, 2000 eter Reklaitis Jr., 88, of El Cajon, Cpa., formerly of
Wyoming, died on Jan. 25 at Victoria Special Care Manor, El Cajon, Ca. Born
Oct. 10, 1911, in Pittston, he was a son of the late Peter and Julia
(Yanavich) Reklaitis. He was a 1930 graduate of Pittston High School. Before
his retirement, he worked for Vulcan Iron Works, Wilkes-Barre, and for Garlet
Manufacturing, Old Forge. He was a longtime member of St. Casimir’s Church,
Pittston, and its choir. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former
Aldona Baldauski; and brothers, John and Matthew. Surviving are his son, Paul,
El Cajon, Ca., with whom he resided; two grandsons; brothers, Joseph,
Fairfield, Conn.; William, Hartford, Conn.; and George, Waterbury, Conn.;
sisters, Stella Macenas, West Hartford, Conn.; Anna Gnida, Bridgeport, Conn.;
and Mary Anzalone, West Pittston; and nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian
Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Casimir’s Church, Pittston.
Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek. There will be no
calling hours. Arrangements are by the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, Pittston.
