January 31, 2000 nne Kurkowski, 82, of Turner Street, Plymouth, died Monday at
the family home. Born Nov. 5, 1917, in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of
the late Frank and Mary (Wojs) Rudnik. She resided in Plymouth most of her
life and attended Hanover Township schools. She retired from United Pants Co.,
Plymouth. She was a member of St. Mary’s-St. Stephen’s Parish Community of
Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “Ted”
Kurkowski; and brother, Walter. Surviving are her children, Ronald, Nanticoke;
and Barry, Hanover Township; two grandchildren; sisters, Bernadine Meehan,
Cresco; Rose Rudnik, Jean Rudnik and Pat Kubik, all of Hanover Township; Mary
Ann Chesna, Buffalo, N.Y.; and Josephine Osmanski, Nuangola; nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday from the S.J.
Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
in St. Mary’s Nativity Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery, Plymouth Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
