January 31, 2000 leanor Rich, of Dennison Street, Swoyersville, died Monday
at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born May 19, 1923, in West Pittston, she was
a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Chessick) Bennett. She resided in the
area all of her life. Before retiring, she worked for various dress factories
throughout the Wyoming Valley. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian
Church, Pittston; and the Senior Citizens Club, Plymouth. She was preceded in
death by her husband, George; brother, Louis; and sister, Frances Daniels.
Surviving are her daughter, Georgianne Trinisewski, Wilkes-Barre; two
grandchildren and one niece. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from
the Bednarski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre, with services at 11 a.m. in the
Second Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Murray Thompson will officiate. Interment
will be in Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
