January 31, 2000 teffie Moroff, 92, of Cymid Drive, Port Richey, Fla., died
Monday at the Regional Medical Center, Bayonet Point, Hudson, Fla. Born Nov.
26, 1907, in Warsaw, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Phyllis
Pas Krawczyk. She moved to America at age 13 and settled in Plymouth, where
she attended St. Mary’s School. She lived in Staten Island, N.Y., and New
Jersey before moving to Florida in 1971. She was a cafeteria worker for the
West Orange (New Jersey) School District. She was a member of St. Michael the
Archangel Church, Plains Township; and the Jasmine Lakes Ladies Club, Florida;
and was a former member of St. Mary’s Nativity Church, Plymouth. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and brother, Thomas. Surviving are her
son, Leonard Wonsavage, Las Vegas; sisters, Helen Shak, Hudson; Irene
Manganaro, Wilkes-Barre; and Phyllis Banellis, Pittston; and several nieces
and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at
St. Mary’s Nativity Church, Plymouth. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
