JENKINS TWP.\ Residents on Tuesday expressed displeasure about poor snow
removal on several township roads.

At the Board of Supervisors meeting, residents complained about snow
remaining on Market Street, Union Street and the top of Oak Street. They
complained of snow remaining in the intersections, which could cause
accidents.
Supervisor Chairwoman Coreen Milazzo said the Road Department did a
wonderful job with Sunday’s snow, but there are still problems that will be
taken care of.

The board also voted to reappoint Deidre Yandle to the Recreation Board.

The board approved the contract with Resourceful Bag and Tag, of Hollows
Heights, Ill., for $6,003 to supply the municipal garbage bags.
