A former Scranton man, arrested last month and charged with drug offenses,
waived his preliminary hearing Thursday, said a spokeswoman at District
Justice Diana Malast’s office. A cocaine possession charge against Lyle
Seamon, 45, will be forwarded to Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. Seamon,
an inmate at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, was one of seven people
accused of being affiliated with a Wilkes-Barre couple accused of operating a
$6.5 million drug ring in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties. On Jan. 19, state
Attorney General Mike Fisher said those arrested were affiliated with Jason
Tricarico and his wife, Alyssa Loftus.
