February 3, 2000 armen L. Musto, 92, of Fremont Street, West Pittston, died
Thursday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1907, in Exeter, he
was a son of the late Charles and Vincenza (Barletta) Musto. He attended St.
Cecilia’s High School, Exeter, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman
Catholic Church, West Pittston. Before retiring in 1988, he was service
manager for Barber Ford, where he worked 64 years. Surviving are his wife, the
former Rose DeSantis; sons, William, Morristown, N.J.; and Charles, Port
Blanchard; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Charles,
and sister, Rita Beneziano, both of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by
brothers, Anthony, Angelo and James; and sisters, Lillian Lepore, Susie
Manganiello, Parmy Fornale, Betty Musto and Mary Alvino. Funeral services will
be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Recupero Funeral Home, West Pittston, with a Mass
of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev.
Michael Piccola will officiate. Interment will be in St. Rocco’s Cemetery,
Pittston. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
