February 3, 2000 oe Ann Flanagan, 25, of North Broad Street, West Hazleton,
formerly of the Philadelphia area, died Thursday at Community Medical Center,
Scranton. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Betty Ford, of West
Hazleton, and the late Joseph Flanagan. She worked at Holiday Hair Fashions at
the Laurel Mall. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her children,
Anthony, Arielle and Austin, all at home; brothers, James V. Flanagan,
Hazleton; and Justin G. Socha, West Hazleton; sister, Jessica P. Socha, West
Hazleton; and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be at 9
a.m. Tuesday from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, Inc., Hazleton, with a Mass
of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.
Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Friends may call
from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations to Joe Ann’s children would be
appreciated by the family.
