MADISON, N.J. – The King’s College men’s swimming team split a pair of
matches with FDU-Madison and Drew University on Saturday.
The Monarchs defeated FDU-Madison, 60-20, and fell to Drew, 53-37.
Chris Kulp captured the 500 freestyle and the 100 butterfly and John
Thompson won the 100 breaststroke and the 1000 freestyle for King’s. Parker
Palermo won the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly, while Matt O’Connor won
the 200 freestyle relay for the Monarchs.
The King’s women lost to both FDU-Madison and Drew on Saturday. Tracy
Zalenski won the 1,000 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke to top King’s.
The women’s scores were not available. Misericordia women 101 Mount St.

DALLAS TWP. – Jen VanFossen took first places in the 200 medley relay,
1,000 freestyle and 100 butterfly, and Jolene Brown won the 50 freestyle, 100
freestyle and was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay as College
Misericordia downed Mount St. Mary’s.
Kelley Flynn captured the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle, Deb Widow won
the 200 medley relay and 200 IM, and Maureen Shovlin recorded firsts in the
200 medley relay and 100 backstroke for the winners. Misericordia men 71 Mount

DALLAS TWP. – Steve Keim won the 200 freestyle, 200 medley relay and 200
freestyle relay, and Tim Teague captured the 100 butterfly, 500 freestyle and
200 freestyle relay to lead Misericordia past Mount St. Mary’s.
Ed Halloran won the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, Ryan Durham
placed first in the 200 IM and 200 medley relay, and Bob Wentling took the 200
medley relay and 100 freestyle for the winners. West Chester men 166
Bloomsburg 67
WEST CHESTER – Jay Forman was second in the 100 backstroke and Andrew Rider
took second in the 100 freestyle for Bloomsburg, which lost to West Chester.
Brent Watkins took third in the 200 breaststroke for the Huskies. West
Chester women 146 Bloomsburg 108
WEST CHESTER – Erin Snook won the 100 butterfly for Bloomsburg, which lost
to West Chester.
Nicole Zienkewicz placed first in the 200 IM for the Huskies.
