February 5, 2000 onald Miller, 52, of North Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre,
died Saturday at Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit, Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-Barre. Born March 19, 1947, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late
William R. and Mary (Franchella) Miller. He was educated in Wilkes-Barre
schools. He worked for Muskin Leisure Products, Wilkes-Barre, for 21 years. He
was the first person in Wilkes-Barre to join the Job Corps. He was preceded in
death by his sister, Alice Miller; and brother, William R. Jr. Surviving are
his sisters, Mary Edith Garrison and Catherine Miller, both of Ringtown; and
Phyllis Bolton, Wilkes-Barre; companion, Dolores “Sunny” Richards, with whom
he resided; and nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
at the E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. A blessing service will be
at 8 p.m., with the Rev. E. Francis Kelly of Holy Saviour Church,
Wilkes-Barre, officiating.
