February 3, 2000 onald B. Williams, 71, of Philadelphia, died Thursday in
Roxborough Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Laurel Run, he was a son
of the late William and Alice (McGrail) Williams. He was a graduate of
Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with
the military police. He worked for many years as an electrician for Acme
Markets, Philadelphia. He last worked for John J. Williams Construction Co. He
was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Glenn. Surviving are his
wife, the former Mary Eileen Conway; brother, John J. Williams, and sister,
Helen Williams, both of Quakertown; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of
Christian Burial will be today in St. John the Baptist Church, Philadelphia.
Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corcoran Funeral Home,
Plains Township. Interment will be Tuesday in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains
Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Joseph E. Fitzpatrick
