“In Full Swing,” an evening of swing and salsa dancing will be held
Friday in the grand ballroom at the Woodlands Inn and Resort in Plains
Township.
The evening will include dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., a swing dance
contest, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
A free swing lesson will be taught by Gail Ercoli and a Latin lesson will
be taught by Vince Brust. Music will be by Mike Walton Productions and a Latin
floor show will be presented by The Gail Ercoli Dancers.
Any couple interested in entering the swing contest should contact Ercoli
at 824-1466 or 489-4624. Three prizes will be awarded and trophies will be
presented to the best dressed male and female contestants.
Admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For advance tickets
contact AAA Mid-Atlantic Travel in Wilkes-Barre, the Vince Brust Studio in
Throop, Arthur Murray Studio in Scranton, the Electric Swing Dance Society,
the Woodlands front desk or Gail Ercoli Dance Studios. Best-dressed for 1999
Elaine Altoe and Dan Belotti won trophies as best-dressed couple at a previous
`In Full Swing’ competition.
