February 7, 2000 argaret Hayer, of Courtdale Avenue, Courtdale, died Monday
at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes Barre. Born in Larksville, she was a daughter of
the late Andrew and Mary Beerish. She lived in Courtdale most of her life. She
was a member of St. Mary’s – St. Stephen’s Parish Community, Plymouth. She was
preceded in death by her husband, John. Surviving are her sons, John,
Courtdale; and Joseph, Shavertown, Kingston Township; daughter, Rita Mesaros,
Forty Fort; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary
Barrett, Blasdell, N.Y.; and Helen Paulson, Phillipsburg N.J. Funeral services
will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, Larksville,
with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, Plymouth.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Lehman Township. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
may be made to the Hospice Care of the VNA of Luzerne County, Wilkes Barre.
