February 7, 2000 illian Migal, of Bridge Street, Old Forge, died Monday at
Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Born Nov. 24, 1916, in Old Forge, she was a
daughter of the late Nicholas and Natalina (Sabatini) Biscontini. She was
educated in Old Forge schools and was a lifelong resident of the town. Before
retiring, she was a floor supervisor for Garlett Manufacturing Co., Old Forge.
She was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Old Forge. She was preceded
in death by her husband, George; brothers, Anthony, Peter, Olgo and Robert;
and sisters, Mary Donlavich and Clara Shypulski. Surviving are her son, Lewis
J., Old Forge; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah
Marmo, Old Forge; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at
8:30 a.m. Saturday from the Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, Old Forge. The Rev.
Dr. Michael J. Kirwin will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in
St. Lawrence O’Toole Church. Interment will be in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. There will be a Christian
wake service on Friday. Memorial donations may be made to St. Lawrence O’Toole
Church Building Fund.
