Stanley Shimko Jr., son of Stanley and Donna Shimko, of Bear Creek Township, celebrated his 14th birthday Sept. 20. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Evelyn Kornova, Wilkes-Barre; Eleanore Shimko, Glen Lyon; and the late John Shimko. Stanley has two sisters, two nieces and a nephew.
