DANVILLE: The Sisters of Saint Cyril and Methodius’ 44th- annual summer festival will be July 8 on the grounds of their motherhouse, Villa Sacred Heart. A large flea market, silent auction, homemade baked goods, handcrafted items, book store and religious and Slovak articles. Ethnic and American foods, games for children and adults, raffles, bingo and a cake walk. Basilica will be open to visitors. Bus transportation provided by First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, departing from the Slovak Citizens Club, 627 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. MOUNTAIN TOP: St. Paull’s Lutheran Church, Fireworks display, July 3. For those of you who are new members, St. Paul’s lawn turns into a perfect viewing place to watch the fireworks, being shot off from Wright Township Park. Church members have a lot of fun selling food and trinkets.
