Junior Achievement of Northeastern Pennsylvania honored two- individuals and two- companies during the 30th annual Business Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony. Rich Golden, president of Golden Technologies, was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award for his commitment to growing Golden Technologies, his entrepreneurial spirit and never forgetting where we came from and who brought us where we are today. Joyce A. Fasula, “Mom,” president of Gerrity’s Supermarket, was inducted into the Business Hall of Fame. Since she took over the company it has grown to be the largest family owned supermarket in northeastern Pennsylvania. In addition, PNC Bank was awarded the Outstanding Sponsor Award for their support to Junior Achievement programs, and United Gilsonite Laboratories received the Partnership Award for the company’s dedication to helping Junior Achievement achieve its goals.
