The Most Precious Blood Community Players will travel to four local churches this year to present their Christmas show to the people of the Hazleton Area. The sixth annual holiday pageant, called ‘Our Christmas Gift,’ features an ensemble of 25 performing uplifting and lively music of the season. Shows are set for 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at St. John Bosco Church in Sugarloaf, at 2 p.m. Dec. 10 at Sts. Cyril and Methodisu Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Hazleton; at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton, and at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Annunciation Parish (St. Gabriel’s Church). The concert will end with a Christmas carol sing- along. Barbara Vilushis and Karen Flannery are music coordinators, Helene Seamon is vocal director, and Cammie O’Donnell is musical director. Assistant vocal director is Matt Seamon. Because admission is free, advanced tickets are not available. Seating at each venue is first come, first served.
