St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 231 State St., Nanticoke, has completed its campaign to aid a flood-ravaged church.

Warren Storosko, a member of St. John’s congregation and a frequent traveler to Texas, shared some photos of the flood and devastation that Hurricane Harvey caused to Faith Lutheran Church in Dickerson, Texas. Realizing what a financial burden this disaster placed on this church, St. John’s members and friends were quick to react with financial assistance for their restoration efforts. The drive resulted in donations of $1705.96 to assist Faith Lutheran’s road to recovery. For more information, contact St. John’s at 570-735-8531 or [email protected]
