Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield recently contributed $4,000 to CASA of Luzerne County to support the mission of the Court Appointed Special Advocates to provide a compassionate volunteer advocate to every abused and neglected child in the county. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer advocate for one of the approximately 420 Luzerne County children in foster care, please consider attending an information session at noon Feb. 5 in the CASA office.
