Thirty students from 10 local high schools and home schools attended the inaugural Entrepreneurship Institute held recently at King’s College. The event was organized by tecBridge and supported by grants from nine local organizations, including the William G. McGowan Charitable Trust and King’s.
All participating students were presented $4,000 scholarships to King’s College.
The winning team from Hazleton Academy of Sciences presented on their idea of an advanced water filtration system for removing prescription drugs from potable water streams.
