The Order of Alhambra, local caravan Alhamar #4 recently provided a scholarship to Bridget Quinn Walsh, a student at the University of Scranton who plans on working with the intellectually disabled. The Order of the Alhambra was founded by William Harper Bennett in 1904 and is open to Catholic men and women 18 years or older who wish to assist intellectually disabled people and provide activities and support for special needs children and adults.
