ASHLEY — The Holy Name Society of St. Leo’s/Holy Rosary Church, 33 Manhattan St., Ashley, will hold a Victorian Tea at 2 p.m. April 29 in the church hall. Tickets cost $12 for ages 12 and older. The menu features assorted finger sandwiches, scones, desserts and flavored teas. The event also features entertainment and a basket raffle. No tickets will be sold at the door. CLARKS SUMMIT — The Country Alliance Church and others will host the second annual Widows Banquet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 28 at the Ramada on Northern Boulevard in Clarks Summit. The banquet is offered to express encouragement and support for those women in the region who have lost their husbands. The banquet is open to all widows and will include a free meal, special music by Anna Vanderstel, a student at Clarks Summit University, a devotional message by Susan Pasquali, a widow who is a speaker for Christian Women’s Clubs, gifts for each woman and door prizes. HARVEYS LAKE — Making A Difference Ministries will host a Concert Under the Stars from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 4 with national singer-songwriter Mike Lewis from Nashville, Tenn., and local country act Broken Road Duo during Lake Fest, at Pole 187, The Harveys Lake Beach Club.

HUGHESTOWN — St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 100 Rock St., Hughestown, will host a Sunday School Penny Auction at 2 p.m. April 15. Donations are being accepted, and proceeds will support Sunday school projects throughout the year.

KINGSTON — The Church of Christ Uniting, 190 S. Sprague Ave., Kingston, will hold its annual Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 14. The entrance to Fellowship Hall is located just off the parking lot, accessible from West Market Street. LEHMAN — The Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, 1011 Mountain View Drive, Lehman, will hold its annual Bag Day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 14.

MOUNTAIN TOP — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 316 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, will hold a Christian Mini Concert at 6 p.m. April 15. The event is for all ages, and the performance will be by Yvonne Hartman. A Spaghetti Dinner will take place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. April 24 at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall in White Haven. PITTSTON — St. Joseph Oblates Seminary Chapel , 1880 Route 315, Pittston, will benefit from a yard sale organized by the St. Joseph’s Homeschool Co-op. The co-op is seeking donations of gently used items. Household goods, decorations, toys, baby gear, purses, jewelry, beauty, small tools, and more will be accepted. PITTSTON — The United Methodist Church of Pittston is sponsoring a bus trip on May 19 to the American Music Theater in Lancaster to see “Songs of the Silver Screen,” which pays tribute to the biggest hits from movies of the past and present. After the show, participants will have dinner at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord with time to visit the gift shop. $100 per person includes the show, dinner, bus seat, taxes and tips.
