Roast Beef Dinner, sponsored by Saint Dymphna Knights of Columbus, Sugar Notch, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. April 21 at Holy Family Church hall, 828 Main St., Sugar Notch. Menu features roast beef, potatoes and gravy, vegetable, roll and butter, dessert and beverage. Take-out available. Donation is $10. Everyone is welcome. Shepherd’s Pie Fundraiser, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming. Orders are due by April 12 at 570-693-0905 or 570-693-2821.

FUTURE

Meatloaf dinner, will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 28 at St. Martin in the Fields, the little stone church at the corner of Nuangola and Church roads in Mountain Top. The meal costs $10 for ages 12 and older and $5 for ages 5 to 11, and those younger than 5 are admitted free. Welsh cookies will also be available for purchase.

Big Breakfast Buffet, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 29, Dorrance Township Volunteer Fire Company, 402 St. John’s Road, Wapwallopen, with eggs, sausage, ham, home fries, pancakes, French toast, pastries, coffee, tea and juice. Fish Fry, 3 to 7 p.m. May 4, The Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, 269 E. Main St. Plymouth. Back by popular demands. ‘Cinco de Chicken’ chicken barbecue, hosted by Men-in-Mission at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 231 State St., Nanticoke. Noon to 4 p.m. May 5 at the church. Dinner will consist of a complete half chicken with special BBQ sauce, baked potato, baked beans, apple sauce, rolls, and dessert. EVENTS

Making it in Hollywood, Kingston native and professional stunt woman and actor Heidi Germaine Schnappauf will share her experiences as a stunt double for Jaime Alexander on the NBC hit television series, “Blindspot” during a presentation at 7 p.m. April 19 in the Catherine Evans McGowan Room of the library at Misericordia University. The program is free to the public.
