Harry Potter-themed gala to benefit Wyoming Valley Children’s Association


Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA) will hold a Harry Potter-themed “WVCA Gala at Hogwarts” from 6 to 10 p.m. April 27 at The Woodlands event in Wilkes-Barre. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with cocktail hour and an extensive silent auction, followed by dinner and a mentalist performance by Scranton native, Denny Corby. New to this year’s silent auction are multiple trip packages that are available to locations like London, Puerto Rico, Ireland and more. The Making A Difference Award will also be presented during this event to longtime WVCA supporters, Bruce & Nancy Weinstock. This award recognizes individuals or organizations that “go above and beyond” in their commitment and service to WVCA.
