St. Jude second graders honor Blessed Mother at May Crowning


The annual Saint Jude School May Crowning took place May 16 during the weekly school Mass at Saint Jude Church, with second- and eighth-grade students leading the Mass through readings and song. The second grade served as an honor guard for the eighth graders who, led by Krya Hayden, crowned the statue of Mary as the school choir sang. Second graders who participated include, first row: Jack Truschel IV, Collin Brenner, DeAnna Alston, Zoe Pray, Rhea Mascarenhas, Clare Grandzol, Luke Gordon, Gavin Serock, Henry Muller, Tyler Tressler. Second row: Sister Ellen Fischer, Kaitlyn Ziomek, Miles McShea, Joshua Pavlick, Eric Strish, Raymond Mazur, Mrs. Crofchick (second-grade teacher), Audrey Rymar, Reese Tavella and Jessica Powis.
