Wyoming Seminary Mock Trial Team 11th in nation

The Wyoming Seminary Mock Trial team recently competed in the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Reno, Nevada, placing 11th in the nation in the event. Forty-six teams from throughout the United States, U.S. Territories and South Korea competed. This is the second time that Sem’s Mock Trial team has taken part in this competition; the team also competed in the 2011 tournament. The Sem team won the State Mock Trial championship and served as Pennsylvania’s state representative in the competition. Senior Meghna Melkote of Moosic was one of 10 students to receive a Best Attorney Award in recognition of her outstanding individual performances.
