Local Greek-American organization celebrates AHEPA day

The Black Diamond Chapter 55, Order of the American Hellenic Educational Association (AHEPA) of Wilkes-Barre, celebrated AHEPA Day on May 20 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre. AHEPA is the largest Greek-American organization in the world. The Rev. Joseph Martin, temporary pastor, offered a prayer for the deceased members. The chapter also recognized the children of their members who are college students.
