Foster grandparent receives ‘Experience of A Lifetime Award’


Harold Burke was recently honored by the Foster Grandparent Program with the ‘Experience of a Lifetime Award,’ which is presented to individuals who turn 90 while participating in the program. Burke, who became a Foster grandparent in 2006, is stationed at the Valley Elementary School in Sugarloaf and has touched the lives of many at-risk children in the Hazleton Area School District.
