The Northeast Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association recently awarded two high school seniors scholarships to pursue a music major or minor in college. From left are Andrea Bogusko, president of NEPMTA, presenting a $500 scholarship to Joshua Danna, son of Jack and Susan Danna, of Moscow. He is a graduate of North Pocono High School and will attend college in Boston as an engineering major with a music minor. Victoria Barral, daughter of Gerard and Mary Barral, of Dallas, is a recent graduate of Dallas Area High School. She will attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. She received a $1,000 scholarship from NEPMTA.
