Sem students honored for Chinese language achievements

Two Wyoming Seminary Upper School students recently were honored for their achievements in Mandarin Chinese. 2018 Sem graduate Camryn Litjens, of Forty Fort, right, and rising senior Bella Tang, of Kingston, left, are the first students to receive the Outstanding Chinese Language Achievement Award, established by Sem Mandarin Chinese teacher Mrs. Qinyao Liu Gensel. The award is given to students who have advanced to the upper levels of the Sem Mandarin Chinese language program and have demonstrated genuine interest and consistent excellence in the command and understanding of Chinese language and culture.
