Together with their families, Kayla Weaver and Michael Evanofski happily announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride to be is the daughter of Christine Sierko, of Plains Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Florence Sierko.

The prospective groom is the son of Peter and Tammy Evanofski, of Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Olga Yezuita and the late Peter and Margaret Evanofski.

Ms. Weaver attended James M. Coughlin High School, furthering her education in human services at the McCann School of Business. Kayla is currently employed by Citizens Bank.

Mr. Evanofski is a 2004 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. Michael is currently employed by Cintas Corporation.

The couple will exchange vows on June 30, 2018, at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Miners Mills neighborhood of Wilkes-Barre.
