Jacklyn M. Lowe and Kevin J. Schiel, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Molly Lowe, of Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of the late John W. and Estella Lowe, of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Thomas J. and Kathleen Cavan, of Wilkes-Barre.

She is a 2007 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and a 2011 accounting graduate of King’s College and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Wilkes University in 2016. She is employed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.

The prospective groom is the son of Johnine Weaver, of Wyoming, and Carl Schiel, of Forty-Fort. He is the grandson of the late Carl and Loretta Schiel, of Bear Creek, and the late John and Edna Baczmarga, of Wilkes-Barre. He is the 2006 graduate of Dallas High School and a 2017 summa cum laude graduate of Wilkes University in integrated media. He is currently employed by Net Driven.

The couple will exchange vows May 27, 2018, at St. Benedict’s in Wilkes-Barre.
