Together with their families, Colleen Marie Goodwin and Matthew Wehle Aboff, of New York, N.Y., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Louise Goodwin, of Forty Fort, and the late John M. Goodwin. She is the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Butkiewicz, of Kingston, and the late John and Joan Goodwin, of Newtown.

Colleen is a 2006 graduate of Bishop O’Reilly High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Spanish and marketing. She received an MBA in marketing from the University of Scranton in 2015. She is employed as an enterprise sales executive for Salesforce, New York, N.Y.

The prospective groom is the son of Michael and Nancy Aboff, of Huntington, N.Y. He is the grandson of the late Brandeis and Anne Wehle, Cynthia Seretan, and the late Melvin Aboff and Edward Seretan, all of Huntington, N.Y.

Matthew is a 2003 graduate of Cold Spring Harbor High School, Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y., and 2007 graduate of the University of Hartford, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance. He is an owner of Aboff’s Paints, Huntington, N.Y.

The wedding will take place on Feb. 3, 2018 in New York .
