Michael and Deborah DeNunzio, of Wyoming, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mia, to Joseph John Bridy, son of Mary Lou Bridy and the late Dr. Daniel J. Bridy, of Lancaster.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Leo and Jetta Angelo, of Wyoming, and the late Samuel and Dominica DeNunzio, of Scranton.

Mia is a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and Fordham University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She also earned a Master of Science degree in health policy and economics from Weill Cornell Medical College, and a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. Mia is currently employed as a clinical research manager in the department of neurology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Flory and Lucy Bridy, and the late Joseph and Mary Ruane all, of Shamokin.

Joseph is a graduate of Shamokin Area High School and Bucknell University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a concentration in finance. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is currently a senior partner at Hamlin Capital Management, a New York City investment advisory firm. Joseph also serves as a trustee at Berea College where he sits on Berea’s finance and investment committees and is on the board of Bucknell University’s student managed investment fund.

The couple will exchange vows on June 16, 2018, at Holy Cross Church in Rumson, New Jersey.
