Live carving to take place on lawn

The Waverly Community House is pleased to announce its participation in this year’s “Frozen Wilderness” Festival of Ice Event. A live carving on The Comm front lawn will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Hot coffee and hot cocoa will be served and attendees can make s’mores and warm up at one of the several fire pits that will be set up on The Comm grounds. The event runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is free to the public.

The Waverly Community House is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is located at 1115 North Abington Road in Waverly, PA. Its mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families in the region by fostering educational, recreational and cultural opportunities.
