The Kingston Historical Society is taking orders for a new Home Town Heroes banner to honor groups. Any group is welcome to honor its military this way.
We will continue to sell our original Home Town Heroes banners to honor veterans, pastor or present. In addition, garden flags are available for $25 plus postage if they need to be mailed.
Applications are available on the Kingston Historical Society Facebook page under “files,” or by contacting Sandy at 570-328-0528 or Judi at 570-430-4458.
To order a banner you must include a check or money order for $210 (or more, depending on orders for garden flags) made out to the Kingston Historical Society.
For those ordering the original banners a photo will appear on the banner with the application. The photo will be returned once the banner is proofread.
Applications should be sent to Kingston Historical Society, P.O. Box 1702, Kingston PA 18704. Questions can also be emailed to kingstonhistorical@gmail.com.
For those who would like their banners installed before Memorial Day, the deadline for applications is March 29. For those whose applications are received thereafter, there will be no guarantee of an installation date.
