The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos with the young and young at heart from about 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 29 during the Bear Creek Township Volunteer Hose Co. final fish and shrimp fry of the Lenten season.

You can expect a hopping good time on March 29 at the Bear Creek Township Volunteer Hose Co., during the final fish and shrimp fry of Lent. The Easter Bunny is expected to be on hand from about 5 to 6:30 p.m., and will be available for photographs with the young and young at heart.
At 6 p.m. members of the hose company will hold the drawing for the Blackstone Griddle from Lowe’s Home Improvement. If you haven’t purchased a raffle ticket yet, you will have a chance until about 5:30 p.m. that day.
Hose company merchandise also will be sold during the fish and shrimp fry. You can choose from three different 20-ounce tumbler designs, black or mauve bottle/can huggers and two different styles of garden flags.
The next Bear Creek Township Volunteer Hose Co. fund-raiser will be a Red Hot Craft and Vendor Sale, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. May 4.
