Lynette’s Twirlerettes will present their annual baton twirling recital on Saturday, April 20, in the Carbondale Area High School Auditorium. This year’s theme is “Hot 90s.”
Doors open at 4 p.m. and the show begins at 5 p.m. A slide show will be presented before the live performances. Students from all three divisions — Carbondale, Lake Ariel and Forest City — will perform.
General admission tickets will be available at the door.
For more than four decades Lynette’s Twirlerettes have been proud of their family atmosphere, the friendships created here and the memories made together.
This year we have 19 students twirling in nine different schools throughout three counties in northeastern Pennsylvania.
This year’s graduating seniors from six school districts include Jadyn Kosciuk from North Pocono, Elizabeth Pittsman from Lakeland and Savannah Rosar from Carbondale Area, Jocelyn Bringhurst from MidValley, Samantha Thomas from Pittston Area and Alyssa Rossignol from Wilkes-Barre Area.
Proceeds of the recital will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
