WILKES-BARRE — King’s College announced the Rev. Brian C. Ching, Jennifer M. Mantini, and Ricky Rose have been elected to its board of directors for three-year terms. Brendan Dougher, who has served on the board since 2012, was elected to serve as chair.
“From its earliest days, King’s has been blessed with amazing board members, who care deeply about its Catholic and Holy Cross mission and bring invaluable skill and insight to further that mission,” said the Rev. Thomas P. Looney, president of King’s College. “I am deeply grateful to our newly elected board members for their willingness to serve our noble mission and to continue that great legacy of service.”
Ching has served as the rector of Sacred Heart Basilica at the University of Notre Dame since July 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2007 and a Master of Divinity in 2013. He made his Profession of Perpetual Vows in August 2012 and was ordained a priest at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in 2013.
Mantini serves as the office managing partner for PricewaterhouseCooper’s (PwC) Philadelphia office. She graduated from King’s College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Her professional success and commitment to nonprofit institutions have been recognized in her “40 Under 40” award by the M&A Advisor and her Service to Alma Mater Award for helping King’s College business students plan their careers.
Rose is the owner and CEO of Mountain Productions, which has a European division based in Dublin, Ireland. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts and his Master of Business Administration from Trinity College Dublin. He serves on the boards of Mountain Productions, Petroleum Service Company, and the Irish International Business Network.
Dougher was elected to the board in 2012, serving as chair of the Finance Committee, and on the Committee on Directors, the Executive Committee, and the Marketing and Enrollment Management Committee. He graduated from King’s in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and retired from PwC in 2020 after a more-than-30-year career. His last position was as a managing partner of PwC’s New York Metro Region, its largest office with 9,400 employees, including 750 partners.
