Spring Bingo at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 471 North Main St., Wilkes-Barre, May 17, from 2 to 6 p.m. Grand prize is a 55-inch smart TV. Election Day Food Sale at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 401 East Main Street, Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, until sold out. Menu includes porketta sandwiches, piggy soup and clam chowder, in a bowl or a quart.
Pastie Sale at Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, Mountain View Drive, Lehman. Cost is $8 each, and orders are due by Wednesday, May 20. Call Jayne at 570-814-8263. This will be the last sale until September. Orders can be picked up at the church from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28.
Pi Beta Gamma Club of Wyoming Valley will meet at River Grille restaurant, 670 N River St, Plains, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20. In charge of arrangements are: Sandy Najaka (chairwoman), Nicole Wagner and Carol Kelly-Mauro. Spring charitable contributions will be decided. New members are always welcome.

King’s College Head Coach Bernie Kachinko will hold his annual girls’ volleyball camp July 6-9 from 9 .m. to 1 p.m. in the Scandlon Gymnasium. The camp is open to girls entering grades 8th-12th. The cost of the camp is $140 with a reduced rate of $100 if paid by June 6. You can go to the King’s College athletics website for information.
