Dr. Larry Cook stands in the midst of Presidential literature and memorabilia

Laflin Library Association will host the historian Dr. Larry Cook Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. In honor of America 250, Cook will embark on a journey through the history of the American Presidents during the Revolutionary War. The evening will also feature museum-quality artifacts from Cook’s private presidential collection.
Beginning Tuesday, June 23rd, the library will be open the following hours: Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. June 23 will also mark the start of “Unearth A Story”, a summer reading program for children ages 3 and older. Summer reading for adult patrons will begin on Tuesday, June 30th.
The Laflin Library is located at 47 Laflin Road, Laflin. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The library can be reached by calling 570-654-3323.
