The CAN DO Community Foundation recently hosted a gathering of camp operators and major donors at Ferrwood Music Camp to review the foundation’s current initiative, the Inclusive & Wellness Trail.
Representatives from AllOne Foundation & Charities, Highmark, The Luzerne Foundation and Camp Orchard Hill joined foundation members to discuss the major fundraising project. Checks were presented during the gathering.
The AllOne Charities Collaborative Philanthropy Program matched individual donors’ gifts.
Major gifts from The Pasco L. Schiavo Memorial Fund at The Luzerne Foundation, Highmark and AllOne Foundation also were presented.
Earl Berger led a tour of the main camp building, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.
