WILKES-BARRE — DeadPhish Orchestra, a tribute band to legendary groups Grateful Dead and Phish, comes to the F.M. Kirby Center on Sept. 22.

As part of the Convenient Food Marts Live from the Chandelier Lobby Series, Gallery of Sound has teamed up with the center to bring the national touring, Colorado-based band to Wilkes-Barre.

Co-owner of Gallery of Sound, Joe Nardone Jr., said the store frequently gets offers to co-promote shows, but chose the Colorado act due to their originality.

“They’re not really a tribute, they play both of them together; they play a mix,” Nardone said.

DeadPhish Orchestra performs a unique presentation of Grateful Dead and Phish songs.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28 and are available at the center’s box office, online at www.kirbycenter.org or charge by phone at 570-826-1100. Presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of show.

DeadPhish Orchestra will perform in September as part of the Live from the Chandelier Lobby Series at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.
