WILKES-BARRE — On Feb. 17, Wyoming Valley Art League will hold an opening reception for a new exhibit highlighting the world of Misericordia University Artist in Residence Skip Sensbach.
The bulk of pieces come from Sensbach’s “Glyphs” series, created in response to a loved one’s battle with dementia. Each piece is crafted to represent dementia’s attack on the brain’s ability to work with language and perception. The exhibition will also feature select large-scale installations.
The reception is from 5 to 8 p.m. at WVAL’s Circle Centre for the Arts, 130 S. Franklin St. The exhibit runs through March 30.
