The descendants of Charles and Emanuella Mazzarella (who came to America in the 1890s) celebrated the 49th annual family reunion Aug. 5. Forty-six family members, including those from Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and the local area attended the afternoon event at the Checkerboard Inn,Trucksville. Music was provided by Scott Stevens . Reunion officers are Joseph Mazzarella, president; Anne Marie Shedlock, vice- president; Theresa Morrow, secretary; and Angie Lawler, treasurer. The 50th reunion is planned for Aug. 11, 2019.
