20th annual ethnic food festival to be held at St. John’s in Edwardsville

Members of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 93 Zerby Ave., Edwardsville are preparing for their 20th Annual Ethnic Food Festival to be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, rain or shine, under the big tent on the church grounds.

Featured are some of the best homemade foods, including potato pancakes, pierogies, halushki, pulled pork, goulash, clam chowder and soups. Also, homemade bread, cakes, pies and cookies are available. Ethnic items and handmade Pysanky eggs will be for sale.

There will be games for children and basket raffles. All proceeds will benefit the church building fund.
