A free community seminar on fall prevention will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 in the Roes Brader Dining Room, Heinz Rehab Hospital, 150 Mundy St., Wilkes-Barre.

The fall prevention seminar will examine the root causes of balance issues, examine the risks, identify ways to reduce risks and highlight the role of physical therapy evaluations.

The seminar will include an informational presentation followed by a question and answer session led by our highly credentialed, experienced physical therapists and assistants. Speakers for the event will include Kristina Dorkoski, PT, DPT, NCS, CEEAA, Maureen Krapf, Physical Therapy Assistant, Jacqueline Pearson, PT, DPT, and Sarah S. Reese, PT, DPT.

The seminar is aimed at those with balance issues due to stroke, arthritis, parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, and cognitive diseases.
